Lone KodiakΒ ‘s “Living Room Editions” from their Debut EP are out today. These songs are super special to us because we did them on our own – no producers, no mixers, engineers, labels, gizmos or gadgets. The full EP was fantastic but after spending so much time and money on studios and the above, it started to feel more like work than a fun creative process. These rendition songs are much more mellow, and are based on what happens when we get together in a living room or around a fire and play some songs.
Bio
Lone Kodiak is an LA-based indie rock band known for their vast, intimate and moody sound, passionate performances, and deeply affecting lyrical content. It is comprised of DainΓ©al Parker (the visionary), Daniel Alden (no one cares about the bassist), both founding members of emberghost, the Portland rock band that was in talks with Sony Music before tragedy struck the group, along with former We are Kings and Queens drummer Andrew Smith (the conscience).
