Walden is a band of brothers formed in Athens, GA that is quickly making a name for themselves in the indie rock world. After announcing their new EP, The Static,Β along with a slew of tour dates that includes Shakey Knees Fest, this four-piece has unleashed a new track of stadium-sized proportions. “Alive” is a soaring single that floats in with an epic string section that gives way to shimmering guitars and fluid bass lines. Lead singer Eric Hangartner’s cool, collected vocals grow with each verse and with a reinforced double, launch to new heights for each chorus. With a songwriting style that is both complex and accessible Walden is proof positive that rock music is alive and well. The Static will be out everywhere on April 5th.
