BOOJI BOYS – “SISTER”
WEEKEND ROCKER (2018)
Halifax
Independent
July 1, 2018
Who says punk is dead? It’s alive and kicking in this 12-track punk epic the Booji Boys left under the Great Canadian Holiday Tree on Christmas morning. Today’s album cut, “Sister”, has just the right mix of distortion, crash and screech, and this three-chord-wonder-of-a-track-of-the-day is sure to whip you into enough of a frenzy to set your sciatica into full remission. Yes, we are all getting old, but today’s Track of the Day proves that punk is still fresh and unfettered.
Sid and Joe would be proud.
