Inspired from the 1898 Georges Méliès silent short film of the same title, The Astronomer’s Dream, is a new mini-LP by the American psychedelic rock band, Leisure Shores. Pulling ideas from current events and modern fears, such as the Doomsday Clock being moved to “100 Seconds to Midnight” earlier this year, Leisure Shores sets the bleak, yet awe-inspiring tone for a world in need of rescue. The music video for their new single ‘The Astronomer’s Dream’ is out now, the full mini-LP is available for pre-order on Bandcamp and will be available on all major streaming platforms on December 4, 2020.
