VALERIE WARNTZ – “CA$H”
A Spill Exclusive Video Premiere
21-year-old singer songwriter Valerie Warntz, has been musically inclined since childhood. Being inspired by Fergie, she entered the local school of arts at the age of nine, where she studied sol-fa guitar and piano, as well as traveled over to Europe with an orchestra. As told by Valerie, these educational and touring experiences played a big role in her DIY music career. In 2010 and 2012, Valerie attempted twice to build a band in her hometown, but the endeavour didn’t work out as planned. In 2015, inspired by her favourite artist Lana Del Rey, the singer wrote her first song, “I Don’t Love You Anymore”, which received some recognition on YouTube and Spotify, and as a result she started pursuing a solo career. After releasing two EPs: The Xmas Story (2017), Crazy Dreams (2018), and two music videos on VEVO, Valerie is back with new music video “Ca$h”, which is a single from upcoming album Revelation, expected to be released late 2019.
QUOTE
Ca$h is a very different track in comparison to others on my upcoming album, Revelation. It is a synth-pop song which I really love for its energy. Many people told me that it “sounds like it’s from the ’80s”, that’s why I decided to make a vintage-styled music video.
