New York based trio The Dionysus Effect just released their debut single “Stars” which is the first song from their upcoming album. The grunge filled landscapes thrill under infectious melodies and upbeat basslines, and the song conveys messages of love, passion, yearning and loss. It’s a strong debut from the trio, who aims to bring back the raw and gritty delivery of rock n’ roll while putting a fresh spin on it. The name ‘Dionysus’ comes from a Greek God, who in ancient times brought about ecstasy, insanity and ritual madness.
