YUKON BLONDE ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM FRIENDSHIP & ROCK ‘N’ ROLL OUT SEPTEMBER 19

NEW SINGLE “ADORE YOU” OUT NOW ON DINE ALONE RECORDS

Vancouver’s beloved alternative rock band Yukon Blonde are thrilled to announce their forthcoming album, Friendship & Rock ‘n’ Roll. Alongside the announcement, they share the raucous and heartfelt new single “Adore You” – a high-voltage anthem about leaving it all on the stage, night after night. With the soaring refrain, “Tonight we’re gonna play our hearts out,” Yukon Blonde drives home the sweat, urgency, and unspoken pact between band and audience, showing up, turning it up, and leaving nothing behind.

“Songs can be signifiers of a mood—they can capture something ethereal,” shares bassist James Younger. “I once told Brandon, right before a show, to “leave it all out there.” A couple of months later, he brought it up, said he liked that feeling, that call to arms. This song is about exactly that. Leaving it all out there. Playing your heart out for the people who showed up, who paid to be in the room with you. It’s a thank you to them, and to the wild, winding musical journey that brought us all into the same space, at the same time, chasing the same electric moment.”

The single lands just as Yukon Blonde prepares to hit the road on the Friendship & Rock ‘n’ Roll Fall Tour, kicking off September 18 in Kelowna, BC. The band will bring their infectious energy and soaring melodies to audiences across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario, with support from acclaimed alt-country rockers Altameda on most dates. Janky Bungag will also appear on select shows.
From the dreamy sway of lead track “Colours of My Dreams” to the charged intensity of “Adore You,” Yukon Blonde’s latest songs mark a shift, stripping things back to spotlight the rawness and electricity of their rock ‘n’ roll live show.
