CANADIAN ICON ALANIS MORISSETTE ANNOUNCED AS SATURDAY HEADLINER FOR THIRD ANNUAL SOMMO FESTIVAL
ALANIS TO JOIN PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED SUNDAY HEADLINER HOZIER IN CAVENDISH NEXT SEPTEMBER
Award-winning event company Whitecap Entertainment is kicking off 2025 with a bang, announcing that seven-time GRAMMY award winner Alanis Morissette will headline Saturday night of the 2025 edition of Sommo Festival, returning to Canada’s favourite coastal resort community September 13-14, 2025. Alanis will join previously announced headliner Festiv, making the third edition of Sommo Festival the East Coast’s most sought after ticket this year.

Alanis will bring her extensive catalogue of #1 hits to Sommo’s main stage on September 13. Since the release of Jagged Little Pill in 1995, Alanis has been one of the most influential singer-songwriter-musicians in contemporary music. She is a celebrated Canadian superstar, earning seven GRAMMY Awards, fifteen JUNO Awards, being inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame and receiving the inaugural Billboard Canada Icon Award just last year. She has released 10 albums, sold 60 million copies worldwide and continues to sell out massive arena tours across the globe. On top of Alanis’ entertainment success, she is an avid activist and advocate and is a powerful role model to young female artists everywhere.
