Clearly, Penrose is one of Ireland’s best kept secrets. Led by songwriter Darragh McGrane on guitars and lead vocals, the band also comprises of Caolan Fitzsimons (rhythm guitar), Mark Bolger (bass) and drummer Donal Bowens. All about catchy pop tunes and upbeat earworms, Penrose has a debut EP under their belt, which is hopefully the first of many more.
