THE HEADSTONES SHARE VIDEO + NEW TRACK “PSYCHOTROPIC” | ANNOUNCE FALL TOUR DATES
FLIGHT RISK OUT OCTOBER 14 VIA CADENCE/KNOWN ACCOMPLICE
The Headstones are back with their highly anticipated new full-length album Flight Risk, out October 14 via Cadence Music/Known Accomplice. Ahead of the release, the band have shared the title track and radio single “Tangled,” and today give fans another dose of new music with the track “Psychotropic”
Last week the band announced they’ll be back on the road this November and December with concert tour dates from Vancouver to Toronto, including a stop in Buffalo; second shows have already been added in Ottawa and Buffalo. See below for full list of tour dates. Tickets are available for purchase HERE.
For this tour, instead of bringing one band on the road with them, the Headstones will be giving local openers the opportunity to kick things off in each market – local bands can submit for their chance to play and have the Headstones choose the winner in each town – learn more HERE.
Flight Risk is pre-apocalyptic rock and roll at its finest, following up their 2019 release PeopleSkills, which garnered two Top 10 radio hits with “Leave It All Behind” and “Horses”.
This is the most subversive Headstones rock and roll record to date. Flight Risk is the result of years of relentless work ethic and dedication, a testament to the long-standing relationships within the band and their team. The album features a surprise co-write on the track Ashes, between Hugh Dillon and long-time friend and collaborator Taylor Sheridan; one of the most prolific, premiere storytellers of his time, and architect of hit series’ Yellowstone and 1883, Oscar-nominated films Sicario and Hell or High Water.
Since the release of their last album, Headstones frontman Hugh Dillon has maintained a frenetic pace, balancing writing and recording new music, with his acting and producing duties. Most recently he co-created Paramount+ original series Mayor Of Kingstown with Taylor Sheridan. Dillon and Sheridan previously worked together on the critically acclaimed drama Yellowstone. Mayor Of Kingstown, which features a star-studded cast that includes Jeremy Renner and Dianne Wiest, is currently in production for season two.
The Headstones have an impeccable recording career that spans three decades, eight albums and multiple chart topping singles. Their last two records PEOPLESKILLS and LITTLE ARMY, were critically acclaimed and spawned many Alternative and Active Rock radio hits. The Headstones are Hugh Dillon, Tim White, Trent Carr, Steve Carr and Jesse Labovitz.
