“Nash The Slash Rises Again!”, a compelling and original documentary by Side Three Media, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to secure final funding to complete the film. The campaign, which went live on GoFundMe on August 12th, 2024, aims to raise $75,000.00.
βNash The Slash Rises Again!β explores the trailblazing career of electronic music pioneer Nash The Slash.Β It explores the trials and tribulations of Canadaβs iconoclast, exposing the headwinds he faced as he stayed true to his vision while keeping his real identity under wraps. βNash The Slash Rises Again!β peels back the bandages in humanizing form, diving deep into themes of identity and what it means to be a true original.
βWeβre thrilled to share this project after years of development and production. It’s an important story thatβs begging to be brought to a broader audience,β said Tim Kowalski. βWeβve gotten to the βlocked-pictureβ stage through fan support and the Slaight Family Fund, and with our new crowdfunding campaign, we can pay for post production, some additional licensing fees and tie a bow on it. Weβre reaching out to supporters who are passionate about Nashβs artistic legacy and want to be part of making this film. Funding for highly original stories is challenging, as any Nash fan would understand.β
