JUNO AWARD-WINNING BAND THE BROS. LANDRETH KICK OFF 2023 WITH A BANG
SET TO PERFORM AT ERIC CLAPTON’S CROSSROADS GUITAR FESTIVAL & EMBARK ON A US TOUR
Cementing their place as a premier group in the Americana landscape with the release of their album, Come Morning, The Bros. Landreth have been hand-picked to play Crossroads Guitar Festival. This is the 6th instalment of Eric Clapton’s legendary LA festival taking place September 23rd and 24th. Prior to this, The Bros. are getting ready to take to North American stages on a tour this May.
The success of the Come Morning album has been astounding, with the band winning a prestigious JUNO award for Contemporary Roots Album of the year. The album has earned widespread critical acclaim, garnering flawless reviews from reputable publications such as Guitarist Magazine (UK) and Guitar Techniques (UK), and receiving 4 stars from Rolling Stone Germany and MOJO Magazine (UK). They also received Grammy recognition for Bonnie Raitt’s cover of their song “Made Up Mind”, which won Best Americana Performance. They recently performed the song with her at Australia’s Byron Bay Blues Festival.
Come Morning had a 15-week stint on the US Americana top 100 charts and heavy radio rotation throughout the UK and Europe. Their electrifying live performances across four continents have taken the world by storm, building loyal followings in Canada, the USA, Denmark, Germany, UK, and Australia. Come Morning has cemented its place in hearts of fans worldwide, setting a new standard in contemporary roots music.
The Landreths’ career-defining album, Come Morning, showcases brothers Joey and Dave’s melody-driven songs with atmospheric synth, organ, and textured guitar layers, displaying a refreshing sense of introspection and clarity. A departure from the spontaneity and sonic stomp captured in their previous albums, Come Morning marks The Bros. Landreth’s evolution as a band whose live performances are as unforgettable as their studio recordings.
