CBC MUSIC FESTIVAL RETURNS TO TORONTO THIS MAY

CBC Music Festival returns to TD Echo Beach in Toronto on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Produced by Live Nation Canada, this special CBC event will showcase some of the country’s most talented musical acts, including Hey Rosetta!, Tanya Tagaq, Whitehorse, The Franklin Electric, Maestro, Zaki Ibrahim, Charlotte Cardin, Rich Terfry and the 2016 CBC Music Searchlight winner. Pre-sale tickets will be offered through CBCMusic.ca/festival on Friday, Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET. The first 300 tickets sold via the CBC pre-sale will receive a CBC toque. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. ET through all Ticketmaster outlets, and online at livenation.com. General admission tickets will be available for $39.50 (plus FMF and service charges), free for kids 12 and under.
Now in its fourth year, the CBC Music Festival is a celebration of Canadian music for people of all ages. In addition to the musical performances, concert-goers can look forward to an onsite Craft and Flea Market and an expanded Food Truck Fair that will provide a wide variety of unique and delicious dining. Families will be able to enjoy the all-new Kids’ CBC Zone, offering crafts, activities and entertainment throughout the day.
