Platinum-selling alternative band Blue October have announced their long-awaited ninth studio album I Hope You’re Happy (Release date: August 17, 2018; Up/Down-Brando Records). One track will be released on the 17th of each month leading up to the August 17 release date of the album.
You can pre-order the album and receive three gratis tracks now: “I’ll Do Me, You Do You,” “Colors Collide,” and the lead hit single “I Hope You’re Happy.”
Currently at #15 on US Alternative Airplay Chart, the first single “I Hope You’re Happy” is in rotation on stations like ‘Q101 Chicago, Alt 103.7 FM Dallas, Alt 92.9 Boston, Radio 104.5 Philly, and 101X Austin among dozens of other stations across the country.
In support of the release, Blue October are currently on their I Hope You’re Happy Tour. Upcoming major markets include Phoenix, Anaheim, Houston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, St. Louis, and Denver.
In addition, Blue October frontman Justin Furstenfeld will continue his compelling solo An Open Book series with a month long residency at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, CA from July 12 to August 9. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
