A SPILL EXCLUSIVE ALBUM PREMIERE
Globus x A.D.A.M. is the musical collaboration between award-winning composer-arranger-producer Yoav Goren (Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter) with singer TD Lind and songwriter Danny McGaw.
The collaboration is a stunning western narrative with a widescreen musical treatment that has McGaw writing most of the album’s 11 songs, with Goren and Lind contributing one song each. The material was recorded in McGaw’s home studio in Ojai, California, and Goren’s studio in Santa Monica. The cinematic aspect of Unforgiven β which Goren compares to such features as No Country for Old Men and Hell and High Water β is on display in the trilogy of music videos featuring the tracks “Ordinary Man,” “On The Run” and “Redemption,” starring vocalist TD Lind. A 20-minute narrative music film shot in Georgia and the deserts of California is set to be released in 2024.
The album Unforgiven features 11 anthemic and cinematic tracks that take the listener on a journey following the story of A.D.A.M., the anti-hero character searching for love and redemption. One can feel the emotion in TD Lind’s smokey, gritty and captivating vocal delivery, keeping the listener engaged throughout the album. Atmospheric and soaring melodies are present throughout, paired with powerful instrumentation that elevates each song. “Ordinary Man” is a suspenseful and moody track that draws the listener in, and exhibits TD Lind’s magnetic and powerful voice. “On The Run” has a rich and sweeping rhythm and melody. “The Devil Is Me” reveals how the outlaw character A.D.A.M. is grappling with desperation and heartache as he sings the lyrics no hope no dreams, lost at sea… wondering who is at fault when he realizes that the blame lies within himself finishes the chorus look no further…the devil is me. With bold production that is refreshingly original, Unforgiven has a big, powerful sound and overall presence that feels fresh and familiar at the same time. A triumphant and stunning debut album from Globus x A.D.A.M.
