Astrolope is multi-instrumentalist Paul Geldart’s electronica project. Favouring bubbly synthesizers as well as a mixture of live and electronic drums, his music is a heartfelt homage to the childhood experience of playing video games for the first time, exploring forests and dancing without care. While at times inviting and docile, Astrolope has its aggressive and energetic moments, heard in songs like “Ratking” and “Blimp”.
