BUILDINGS AND FOOD – “B-MOVIE”
A SPILL EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE
Buildings and Food has announced the release of “B-Movie”, the third single and accompanying video from the upcoming album, Up Down Strange Charm, to be released on September 25, 2020.
Ahead of the album’s release, “B-Movie”, available on August 31st, is a slow-burning retro lo-fi number, RIYL Stereolab or Lali Puna. Tapping into a thread of nostalgia, the video straddles a line between home-movie montage and alt-pop student doc, complementing the song’s retro vibe with some vintage PD footage. Beautiful low-key vocals and a catchy refrain make for a sweet soundtrack to a summer’s end.
B-Movie is now available to stream worldwide and is available for purchase on Bandcamp. The single comes with a chill, lo-fi remix version by fellow Toronto artist Buttercloud.
Up Down Strange Charm will be released on September 25th, and is available for pre-order now.
