The cinematic art-rock band, 5th PROJEKT paints with sound on “Vagabond”, a psychedelic cry of sovereignty amidst dreamy shoegaze atmospheres grounded in grunge. “Vagabond” is the first single from 5th PROJEKT’s upcoming EP, The Wolf, that is based on their experience walking the Camino Santiago, also known as ‘The Way’. This walking meditation from the south of France, across northern Spain to the Atlantic Ocean is a mystical initiation that dates back thousands of years. It continues to serve as an alchemical process for distillation, refinement and purification of self.
The music video for “Vagabond” is a reflection of how you start to lose or let go of things along the way. You realize that there are things that you just don’t have to carry anymore. First material possessions, then more emotional things that weigh you down and take your energy, like self-doubt, shame, vanity, negative thoughts and limiting beliefs.
