Montreal’s psychedelic art rockersย The Besnard Lakesย have just shared “She’s an Icicle,” an outtake from the sessions for their sprawling epic of a 2021 album,ย The Besnard Lakes Are The Last Great Thunderstorm Warnings.
Having gone through a process of editing and reworking, “She’s an Icicle” arrives as a driving indie rock track which begins as a gentle ode to a lost love. Shifting and changing whileย Jace Lasek’s falsetto pierces through, “She’s an Icicle” captures the many facets ofย The Besnard Lakes’ melodic rock explorations.
