SHIPS IN THE NIGHT – “BLOOD HARMONY”

A video for “Blood Harmony“ by the ethereal darkwave artist Ships In The Night (the US musician, singer, and producer Alethea Leventhal) has been issued to commemorate All Hallows’ Eve.
Casting a spell to shelter us as the days get darker, the song features swirling, kinetic synthesisers and ghostly whispers blended with a haunting vocal. Its video sees a coven of witches wandering through a forest, searching for a place to build an altar, light a fire, and join together to cast a spell to protect them from demons.
“This video is about coming together to keep each other safe,” explains Leventhal. “It reflects the times we are living through and the hope to counter what feels dark and cold with warmth and light. It’s about leaning on one another, soft strength, and taking back our power.”
“Blood Harmony” is the opening track on Protection Spells, Leventhal’s third and current album as Ships In The Night, released in May 2025 via Metropolis Records.
