ROSE HOTEL SHARES NEW SINGLE “MY SATELLITE” | TRACK PRODUCED BY TREY LANDER
STROLLING BONES RECORDS
Atlanta-based artist Rose Hotel (aka singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Reynolds) returns with a new single, “My Satellite,” co-produced with two time GRAMMY-nominated Atlanta producer Trey Lander (Summer Walker, JID). Of the track, she offers, “This is a love song – one that honors the ability of someone you love to be able to see in you a way that sometimes you cannot see yourself. When they are a guiding light, a force of positive change, and something that is always with you. Like the moon is a satellite of the earth, a loved one can follow and reflect your light (even when it’s complicated).”
Rose Hotel shared another collab with Landers, “Patterns,” earlier this year. The new songs follow her sophomore album and Strolling Bones Records debut, A Pawn Surrender, which she co-produced with Atlanta-based engineers Damon Moon (Bathe Alone) and Graham Tavel (Material Girls) and acclaimed Athens, Georgia producer Drew Vandenberg (Faye Webster, S.G Goodman).
Reynolds began playing keys with Kentucky psych-rockers Buffalo Rodeo when she was 19 and has built a career as a side musician for acts like Faye Webster, Susto, Neighbor Lady, and She Returns From War since self-releasing Rose Hotel’s 2019 debut, I Will Only Come When It’s a Yes. That year, Paste Magazine listed her among “25 Atlanta Indie Rock Bands You Need to Know,” praising, “It’s a miraculous mix of psych-rock, pop and jazz that shouldn’t work, but Reynolds and her band knit them all tightly together for a full, bold sound.”
