TENILLE TOWNES
@ RICHMOND HILL CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, RICHMOND HILL
MARCH 28, 2026
There’s something quite magical about Tenille Townes’ Living Room Tour. Something that feels less like a concert and more like being let in on a secret. From the moment the show began, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a typical night of music. Set in a small, intimate setting, the atmosphere immediately softened the usual distance between artist and audience, replacing it with something warmer, more personal.
The stripped-back nature of the tour allowed Townes to lean fully into an acoustic set, weaving together old favourites with new songs from her upcoming album. Without heavy production or distractions, every lyric landed with intention. It wasn’t about spectacle, it was about presence. In that space, her voice and raw talent did all the talking.
What stood out most was how naturally she connected with fans on a deeper level. Between songs, she slipped into story times that were honest, sometimes funny, and sometimes reflective, which gave context to the music and made each performance feel unique. It felt less rehearsed and more like a conversation, as if the audience was part of the creative process itself.
That feeling was only amplified by her approach to the setlist. Rather than sticking to a rigid structure, she made it up as she went along, leaving room for spontaneity and creativity. You could sense her reading the room, choosing songs based on the energy in front of her, making each show its own living, breathing experience.
The first night of the tour set the tone beautifully. It was memorable not because of any grand moment, but because of its sincerity. It established what this tour would be: unfiltered, heartfelt, and deeply human.
In a world of overproduced performances The Living Room Tour feels like a return to something essential. Just an artist, her stories, and the kind of music that doesn’t need anything extra to leave an impact.
