“Live My Life on Holiday” is one of the singles Miina, aka Laura Mina Mitic. picked from her debut album Where the Light Goes, but what it takes today to makes your music heard (whether it deserves to be or not), especially in quite the crowded dream pop field, is something the Canadian singer songwriter is surely aware of.

After all, you need some more that just good songs, meticulous preparation and delivery before you can think how you can proceed from there. Here we got a case of a songwriter who doesn’t take dream pop as a fixed set of formulas, but somebody who dares to bring in elements, other dream poppers wouldn’t even dream of, like the old-fashioned soul of “worry” or simply well-thought out and performed abovementioned-single.

In any case, whatever effort it took Miina to come up with this album it deserves the ear time of any listener looking for high-quality pop of any kind.
