SPILL ALBUM REVIEW: EVERCLEAR – SPARKLE AND FADE (30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY REMASTERED DELUXE EDITION)

EVERCLEAR
SPARKLE AND FADE (30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY REMASTERED DELUXE EDITION)
CAPITOL

Get ready to rock, folks! Everclear, alternative rock that defined the ’90s, celebrates their 30th anniversary Sparkle and Fade unleash as remastered deluxe edition. What’s super cool about this piece is that not only does it capture the original version but also unreleased tracks, demos and covers.

“Santa Monica” is obviously included in this release, and hearing this version brought back memories of its original MTV debut in 1995. Notably, the bonus track “Sing Away” is a standout, maintaining Everclear’s signature emotional depth and intensity. Check out the YouTube clip – classic Everclear, this recipe never disappoints.

The band’s endurance is particularly noteworthy, as they not only rerelease albums to an enthusiastic audience, but also consistently support their dedicated fan base through extensive tours both in the United States and abroad, including Australia. Despite Art Alexakis’s diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, his commitment and influence among fans remain undiminished. He is an absolute god to his fans, a distinguished musician, and a respected figure in the industry.

About the Author
Victoria Love-Rainbow
I am an avid connoisseur of music experiences but never had the courage to share them until now. My inspiration comes from the '90s alternative and punk rock music I grew up listening to. Bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Silverchair, Eve 6 and Everclear shaped my worldview and taste in music. I want to capture some of their energy and spirit in my stories. Thanks for checking out my bio and my work!
