Some just might remember Bent By Elephants, a collaborative musical effort that produced some interesting music from 2009 to 2015. Part of that effort were Chesley Walsh & Luke Fowlie, the Montreal-based duo who now operate as Big Share.

Printed Pictures is their second album under the new moniker, and there is a deep sense of maturity and assuredness in what they have come up with here, as their songwriting seems to be growing by the day, garnished by some truly sublime dual vocal harmonies that permeate all the songs here.

Helping them create a detailed, individual sound was co-producer Michael Feuerstack (an excellent singer/songwriter in his own right), and a set of equally-assured musicians that make this record a delight for all folk singer/songwriter fans.
