PARENT are Jason Brown (guitar) and Rachel Kern (voice). Based in Manchester, England this is their debut album. The album consists of 12 acoustic songs with bespoke string arrangements by Sarah Brandwood-Spencer throughout. CHRIS DIFFORD from Squeeze described their song “You’re Not Broken” as simply “wonderful” and they have received airplay from TOM ROBINSON on his show on BBC6 Music, as well as plays on indie shows in Europe and Canada. DENISE JOHNSON (Primal Scream, Electronic, New Order, ACR) said “this album is just beautiful” describing their song ” ;Until Then” as “sublime”.
