Georgia Harmer has one of those voices that simply wins you over, even if the song she sings doesn’t amount to much. Yet, when the songs she sings do amount to quite a bit, the effect is even greater. She showed quite a bit of promise with her 2022 debut Stay In Touch, but takes things to an even higher level on her new album offering, Eye Of The Storm.

Sure, many would label Harmer’s music as ‘standard singer-songwriter fare.’ as she takes many personal thoughts and images and expresses them through music, but there is always a distinctive element there that makes such music listenable or not. The ability of the artist to relate such thoughts and feelings to practically anybody that takes even a casual listen, and Harmer passed that test on her debut, and even more so on Eye of The Storm.
