MANTAR will grab you by the neck and completely throttle you with the release of their full-length album, Post Apocalyptic Depression, via Metal Blade Records. Just drums and guitar—that’s right, no bass. It’ll have your eyes rolling back into your skull.
The thick, dark tracks blend extreme metal, industrial rock, and a hint of punk with surprising vocals. These elements come together to create a powerful and intense sound that captures the raw emotion and energy of the band. The heavy guitar riffs and pounding drums provide a solid foundation for the aggressive yet melodic vocals. The music pushes the boundaries of conventional genres and offers a fresh, invigorating listening experience.
“Halsgericht” is wild; what a track! It’s full-bodied, like a fine wine, with super smooth instrumentals reminiscent of ’90s industrial, which is cool, along with a guttural vocal ballad—simply divine and delicious to devour. Whether or not you’re a MANTAR fan, credit should be given where it’s due. Get amongst it.
