“Lost In The Ether”Β is the third single from Church of Trees’ new album Transience. Heralding a distinct shift from Church of Treesβ patented synth sound, the electro-rocker features bandleader Bernard Frazer along with powerhouse vocalist Heather Brazeau (Pet Sematary) on lead vocals, with Blinker the Star’s Jordon Zadorozny on guitar. Lyrically, the song zooms in to the narrator watching helplessly as a loved one gradually succumbs to illness, then passes into the next life. “During our first rehearsal, singer Stella Panacci completely broke down mid-song. She recently lost her mother. So, the lyric resonated deeply.β says Frazer.
