Lies to Starsย (to be released on April 18th, 2019, via Lagoonar/ Riff Records/ Fuzzyย Cluster Records) is the fourth studio album by Italian noise-rock band Love in Elevator. The album was entirely produced by the band, recorded and mixed by Andrea Volpato at Fox Studio in Venice, Italy, and mastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service.
Today we’re premiering Lies to Stars’ย first single โOpen Vision”. Every track of the album will be released along with a piece of art, made by a female artist (from Italy and Spain), as a deeper figurative understanding of the song.
Greta Broglio, the artist behind โOpen Visionโ, said about the artwork:ย โThis song raised in me an emotional scenario, a place where we get rid of the superficiality of the mind and ascend to a higher place of freedom, our higher self.ย The dark lines represent the architectural element as the cage of the mind, society, anxiety, education, wounds of our inner child that need to be purged. These black lines symbolize the blocks, whatever they are. Our higher self (light blue) lies underneath and floats on the subconscious, the abyss (red). The scene is still, but the dynamic element created by the blue and the red frees itself from the chains and opens the vision towards a new fresh start, a new beginningโ.
