RATING

The Endzeit Bunkertracks compilations – if you know them, you love them, and if you don’t know them, put your boots on and prepare to get dark and crunchy. Awaiting you is nearly 70 tracks across four discs of EBM/Industrial awesomeness to get you stomping and screaming on the dancefloor on the 6th release in this epic series.

Throughout the compilation, you’ll hear elements of Industrial, Trance, Rave, Darkwave, and much more. It’s nicely held together by undercurrents of menace, melancholy, and of course, relentless beats. Act VI also manages to remain solid throughout its considerable tracklist without ever coming close to being a collection of “obvious” tracks, making it both ‘underground’ and ‘accessible’ enough to appease any fan of ugly, angry, body-moving beats. This is especially impressive considering the fact that most of the tracks are otherwise hard to find, or even previously unreleased, including plenty of remixes that are exclusive to the compilation.

Serious fans will want to go for the “deluxe” version which comes with special packaging, an additional 18-track sampler, and a download code for an additional 40 tracks. That’s right – nearly 130 tracks of EBM awesomeness. So stop drooling, pick up a copy, and get to stomping already.
