SENSITIVE CONTENT – “THEY RUN”
MANIC DEPRESSION RECORDS
Sensitive Content is a Parisian-Athenian music duo, navigating between the tides of synth, cold and dark wave, post-punk, no-wave and experimental.
Composed of the Thief of Hearts (Manos – voice and trouble distribution), an anti-hero – that romanticism has made mad over the years – who’s drifting the streets at night seeking for innocent heart in order to satiate his thirst for pure love… and of the Cop of Love (Alex – Guitar and evil machinery), a lonely vigilante working as a private detective, nibbled by the lack of love in our cities.
Formed in late 2023 in Athens, the band started composing at a lightning speed pace to deliver their first EP in 2024 : Ténèbres Insondables (Just Gazing Records), tainted with punk energy, despair and attitude. In 2026 Asilo Oneiron release a physical copy of Ténèbres Insondables as an anniversary limited LP for the two years of the release.
They toured Greece and Europe before making a new effort in the studio, different yet attached to their previous ones. With more dancing grooves and a more experimental approach, with lyrics oscillating between the contempt for the decaying society and more urban romantic and dadaist poetry.
Romantic Asthmatic is a sound nouvelle based on the human relations. Focusing on sexual / romantic relationships from the start to the end, with small breaks that referred the huge factor of the collapsing society that divides humans with animals (humans without feelings), stories made of blood and massacre, toxic masculinity and power control that puts you back in reality with unfiltered statements. Romantic Asthmatic is an accurate description of what we experience in our dark dead end times. Lack of oxygen and choices. Our getaway is romance and love but when the society goes from bad to worst nobody can be functional and sacrifice themselves to the altar (?) of love.
