ASTARI NITE SHARES VIDEO FOR “JOYFUL WISH”

After releasing their second album, Until the End of the Moon, on May 13th and touring the East Coast, new wave band Astari Nite shares a video for their single βJoyful Wishβ. The short film, directed by Beach House Productions, was recorded at Revolution Live (Ft. Lauderdale) when the band opened for She Wants Revenge on June 3rd.
βJoyful Wishβ is the third single off the album Until the End of the Moon and features the vocals of Kayla Bee, and Danny Ae on synths. The song is a powerful 80βs inspired post punk track.
About Astari Nite
Formed in 2008, the group consists of Mychael Ghost (lead vocals), Illia Tulloch (Drums), M. Sallons (Bass), Michael Setton (Guitar), and Howard Melnick (Guitar). Signed to (Danse Macabre Records).
Astari Nite has headlined numerous shows, as well as opened up for many national acts such as Peter Murphy, The Psychedelic Furs, ColdCave, Stars, Assemblage 23, Seabound, Modern English, Andy Rourke of The Smiths, Apoptygma Berzerk and De/Vision among many others.
Since forming they have put out five releases; their self-titled Astari Nite (2010), Requiem Mass (2011) Stereo Waltz LP (2014) featuring the singles “Pyramids” and “I.O. 1987”, Anonymous (2015) featuring the single “The Boy Who Tried” and Until the End of the Moon LP (2016).
2016 Highlights – The single “Always Like Yesterday” was included in Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist (January). Released a music video for the single “Always Like Yesterday.” Released second LP titled Until the end of the Moon (May). Toured the U.S East Coast in support of the album (May). Opened for She Wants Revenge (June).
