SPILL ALBUM REVIEW: ASTARI NITE – RESOLUTION OF HAPPINESS

Astari Nite

ASTARI NITE
RESOLUTION OF HAPPINESS
NEGATIVE GAIN PRODUCTIONS

Astari Nite is an alternative rock band hailing from the streets of Miami, FL. They have made a significant impact in the world of dark wave music, like a musical wizard, conjuring up a mesmerising blend of 80s goth and new wave vibes that’ll have you craving more. Their music is hypnotizingly seductive, like a Benzo-filled fiasco. Resolution Of Happiness is no exception.

Resolution Of Happiness offers a treasure trove of musical gems, with 10 soul-stirring tracks of unstoppable sonic awesomeness. With a sound that parallels the 80s goth scene likened to The Cure and/or Depeche Mode, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the matured quality in this genre’s evolution. It so freakin’ cool that you’ll be reaching for your finest black skinny jeans and Vantablack eyeshadow.

“Bowie In Daydreams” is music sorcery; cleverly pulled together, it stands apart from the other tracks, demonstrating this phenomenal artistic ability. Sneaky, delectable delights can be found in the surprising genre-crossing “The Inevitable Crocodile”. You’ll be thirsty for more. Although I adore both these tracks, “Necessity Meal” offers something unique and authentic to Astari Nite’s form. The opening drums roll into a synthetic squeal, disrupted by the creeping sensual vocals of Mychael Ghost; you too will be ‘thankful for the guilt’.

Nothing short of a musical genius, Astari Nite provides an atmospheric sound and introspective lyrics. Mychael Ghost’s powerful voice and emotive delivery contribute to the band’s unique sound. I can only imagine their live performance; it would be captivating. If you are inclined that way, Astari Nite is set to sparkle not only at the Obituary Festival and Dark Castle Fest in the States but also at Germany’s NCN Festival. You won’t be disappointed.

About the Author
Victoria Love-Rainbow
I am an avid connoisseur of music experiences but never had the courage to share them until now. My inspiration comes from the '90s alternative and punk rock music I grew up listening to. Bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Silverchair, Eve 6 and Everclear shaped my worldview and taste in music. I want to capture some of their energy and spirit in my stories. Thanks for checking out my bio and my work!
