Today, fresh-faced bedroom pop crooner Preston Bearden, better known as Otlo, releases his charming new single “Daisy,” showcasing the indie-pop wunderkind at his dreamy, romantic best.
Off the heels of his viral hit “But A Dream,” from debut album Woozy, and “Sweet Nothings,” his 2024 dreamy lo-fi anthem of young love, Otlo delivers his most imaginative single to date in “Daisy.” Drawing from his background in both indie-rock and retro video game culture, the Tennessee based singer-songwriter blends classic songwriting with beautifully nostalgic productions.
“Daisy” is a kaleidoscopic mashup of styles, incorporating sunny indie-pop, 80’s drum-machines, and delightfully lo-fi slacker charm. Otlo’s voice is sweet and longing, bringing his fantasy to life over colorful chord changes and obsessively detailed production.
