Jackie Highway is a multi-styled project created by Angie Shyr, born with a violin in one hand, a piano in the other and wondering what else she couldΒ get her hands on. Brought up by two itinerant biochemists who enjoyed crisscrossing borders, she bonded first with Mother Nature and her aural wilderness.Β Β Then came music through endless experiments like violin/piano lessons, listening to the galaxy emote, and constant movement through orchestras, quartets & bands. Real and imaginary travel were equal opportunities!
Jackie loves to buck the traditional vanguard and give it a new North. Creating blends of neo-grooves and indie pop is her contribution to freeing our natural shine. βMusic has infinite roles. Its impact is immeasurable. As listeners, we disperse and pollinate music. We walk each song along emotional and experiential routes that eventually give it eternal life. Coming off the heels of a successful debut of her first single, “Here I Am”, her collective is ready to unveil the video for the groovy track. The video begins with Angie Shyr waking up from a midday nap, thanks to an overwhelming anticipation for what the night has to offer. Thanks to the help of a few lasers and otherworldly lights, we witness the early stages of a musical get down. The feature is a little over three-minutes and showcases Angie and her bassist doing what they do best.
