Norway’s beloved synth pop quartet,ย Datarock,ย have a brand new single that dropped today calledย “Ruffle Shuffle.” This frothy new elixir is just a peek into the rest of the electro-pop goodies that are about to be unleashed from the band off of their anticipated third album,ย Face The Brutality, after nine years of studio silence. The long awaited album is set to drop March 2018 via the bands own label Yap Records.
Subversive and mischievous, disarmingly modest, effortlessly entertaining, and as daft as they are heartfelt, Datarock have been sorely missing from our lives these unsettling recent years. Their ambitions remain humble – โWe hope the next album will reach out and put a smile on our fellow bitter and bored friends around the worldโ – but Face the Brutality might even entertain a handful or two others.
