HOMEGROWN FESTIVAL TAKING PLACE IN AUSTRALIA MARCH 16 & 23
Destroy All Lines presents HOMEGROWN, featuring an all-Australian lineup of home-grown acts. The events will be headlined by Slowly Slowly and Kisschasy. The Melbourne edition on March 16 at PICA will also feature Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, WAAX, Void of Vision, Enola, and Hassall. The Ballarat edition on March 23rd at Kyral Castle will include The Getaway Plan, Press Club, Lashes, and Catholic Guilt. Both events will include Slowly Slowly’s pop punk side project, Tooslow, and EMO NEVER SLEEPS DJS.
Slowly Slowly with their heartfelt lyricism and sonic hooks. Their “Daisy Chain” album debuted at #5 on the Australian ARIA Album Chart. Kisschasy, iconic Aussie rockers, are known for their infectious blend of pop, rock, and emo-tinged sincerity. They have multiple ARIA Award nominations and a string of smash singles.
Joining the Melbourne event, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, who supported The Foo Fighters in 2023, will not disappoint. WAAX, Brisbane-based alternative /post-punk, will also perform. Void of Vision will showcase their explosive stylings, while Enola is set to explore the realms between isolation and catharsis. Hassall, a Melbourne singer-songwriter, is described as being βenchantingβ.
Ballarat will feature The Getaway Plan, a Melbourne rock band, performing alongside Slowly Slowly and Kisschasy. Press Club, a Melbourne punk band, will share its hectic style. Lashes brings unique musical experimentation, while Catholic Guilt blends punk, alternative, folk, rock, and authenticity.
