DEBUT LP PHANTASEA PHARM DUE LATER THIS YEAR VIA 4AD

Manhattan four-piece cumgirl8 announce a string of forthcoming North American, European, and UK tour dates, kicking off this October and continuing through the end of the year with stops across the States, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, and more, as well as appearances at Iceland Airwaves and Desert Daze.

As much as their genre-morphing music itself, cumgirl8’s incendiary live performances are brilliantly chaotic and emblematic of the spirit of New York performance art. In recent months, cumgirl8 has completed a US headline tour and support dates with L7 and Bratmobile. Historically, the band has played a sold-out show at New York’s newest venue Knitting Factory at Baker Falls (formerly The Pyramid Club), a stint supporting Le Tigre on a sold-out Canadian run, and festival spots at Primavera, The Great Escape, London Calling, Green Man, Core Festival, and Pitchfork Paris, just to name a few.

Earlier this year, cumgirl8 shared two standalone singles, “quite like love” and “glasshour,” released to praise from a number of major publications. Both new singles serve as a preview for the group’s upcoming debut record (due later this year), and follow last year’s EP release, phantasea pharm (their debut with 4AD).
