Fusing dream-psych and post-punk influences, Stockholm’s Magic Potion are set to release their debut album Pink Gum on May 27th via PNKSLM Recordings. Featuring a gritty garage feel and an insistent bassline, the track is a follow up to lead single “Milk” that garnered over 175,000 streams across platforms in less than a month

Recorded, produced, and mixed by Magic Potion themselves, Pink Gum stays true to the band’s unique brand of warped slacker pop. The album includes favorites “Deep Web” and “Booored” from their break-out Melt EP along with eight new tracks that truly find the band coming into their own.
Magic Potion is made up of Gustaf Montelius (vocals/guitar), Andreas Sandberg (drums), Kristoffer Byström (bass), and Johan Harrius (guitar). Recorded on an old reel-to-reel, the band takes an eccentric approach on Pink Gum and emerge with a work that radiates a warm, refreshing vibe just in time for summer.
