Kingston’s HAG is quickly building a serious fan base. Blending rituals, spells and witchcraft into their songs and sold out live shows, Kingston’s supergroup of Ange Stever, Megan Hamilton (Shelby Lamb Band, herself), Dee Prescott (I Hate Sally, Forty Seven Teeth) and Moira Demorest (Pelt, herself) are proving that perimenopausal indie witch punk is (literally) all the rage. On September 22nd, the Autumn Equinox, HAG unleashed “So Tired”, an NSFW rage against patriarchy, bad news partners and the state of the world in general with a catchy chorus of 4 part harmonies repeating “Go f**k yourself tonight”. Echoing the rage, confusion and general chaos of so many, So Tired gives everyone permission to scream the words we’re all feeling.
