Hailing from Massachusetts, Dream Fatigue are crafting an infusion of emo pop, grunge, and alternative rock you need to hear. Coming from the mind of drummer Matt Wood (formerly of Fleshwater) teaming up with vocalist Jonali McFadden, Dream Fatigue came to fruition in 2024 with the release of their debut album the lady in the sky. The band builds on the beautiful grittiness of the album and enters its next era with new single “Be Your Anchor” out now on DAZE.

Capturing dream-like aggression with a soulful pocket, “Be Your Anchor” boasts bright, emotional vocals enhanced by groove-driven drums and swirling riffs. Sonic influence from bands like Hum and Incubus glances through, but originality persists for Dream Fatigue. The track is an empowering anthem, with McFadden’s confidently delivered chorus – “sway, play, this life is your song / stay, dream, there’s nothing wrong.”

Dream Fatigue’s next show is January 18th in Boston, MA at The Sinclair alongside Glare, Holder, and All Under Heaven. Except more music and touring from the band to come in 2026.

Dream Fatigue is Jonali McFadden – vocals, Lee Williams – guitar, Nate Gariepy – guitar, Paul Klein – bass, and Matt Wood – drums.
