BELLA WHITE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “DREAM SONG”

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Bella White returns with her new single, “Dream Song” on Rounder Records. The song follows 2025’s “Little Things” and is part of White’s first collection of original material since 2023’s Among Other Things and 2024’s touted covers EP, Five For Silver. Written by White and co-produced with Ross Farbe (of Video Age, Sun Hotel, and Native America), “Dream Song” is a gritty but tender love song where White ruminates on the often-hidden burdens of the past grappling with anxiety and questions of self-worth, while recognizing the confidence that comes from being in a healthy relationship.
“‘Dream Song’ is about reckoning with the past and accepting the lasting impact it can have on the future,” says White. “I wrote it when I started to feel settled after a time of turbulence. It came from a place of safety and security. A dream actualized! I think ‘Dream Song’ is a push and pull of then and now and what’s to come. It’s a love song.”
White’s two single releases “Little Things” and “Dream Song” open a new chapter for her, whose artistry continues to transcend genre boundaries. Her 2023 album, Among Other Things, earned widespread critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone calling it “sublime Appalachian heartbreak,” and additional praise from NPR, Consequence, No Depression, Whiskey Riff, American Songwriter, Holler, and more. In 2024, White’s music appeared in multiple episodes of The Waterfront, and she shared stages with Tyler Childers, Dierks Bentley, and The Red Clay Strays.
