Meteor Heist is a Toronto-based indie rock band influenced by artists such as Broken Social Scene, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Tragically Hip. The band formed in 2022, and has since become a staple of the Toronto indie scene. Their music has been described as “…evocative, erudite lyrics against lush and intricate instrumentation… like something from the glory days of 90s Canadian alt rock.” The band’s second EP, Meteor Heist II, was released independently on January 23rd.
