WARBURTON – “MAKE IT BETTER”
A SPILL EXCLUSIVE MUSIC PREMIERE
‘Make it better’ is the second single off Warburton’s upcoming debut EP Sad Songs For Happy People and is the follow up to the late 2023 crooner single “I Didn’t Know”. Continuing in Warburton’s DIY work ethic, “Make It Better” is self recorded, produced and released, capturing their unique moody and melodic indie sound.
Warburton began as a solo project from Western Australian multi-instrumentalist Nathan Freeze-Mitchell in late 2020. It wasn’t until mid 2023 that Warburton truly came into existence with the addition of members Mat McNeil, Jon Joseph and Connor Farrell. With a full band in place, Warbuton evolved from Nathan’s sad indie country songs to be the indie folk and rock gems that exist today.
Being on stage in where Warburton really shines,. Their songs transform and swell with overdrive, feature killer guitar solos and become heavier whilst staying melodic and true to the bands sound. After taking some time off to write and record, Warburton will be back on stage February 17th 2024 at Supermarket in Toronto.
