Zwaremachine
Ripping At The Fabric
Brutal Resonance Records
Zwaremachine has mastered the ability to combine Industrial and EBM into a wonderful concoction on their five-track EP, Ripping At the Fabric. Dark and hypnotizing, each song is distinct so it’s easy to listen to from beginning to end. The energetic tempo and catchy chorus of the title track deems it worthy of being played in nightclubs.
Ripping At The Fabric is true to classic industrial elements of synth, heavy bass lines, and drum machines. One may feel it reminiscent of early electro-industrial acts such as Skinny Puppy or possibly Front 242. With such a predominant old school feel to it, it’s a nice touch that the EP is available as a limited-edition cassette tape. For those who love early industrial, you can find an appreciation for this album. It’s also a sure bet for someone who has the desire to be reintroduced into the genres. A very stimulating listen either way.
