SPILL ALBUM REVIEW: WAKA FLOCKA – SALUTE ME OR SHOOT ME 6

Waka Flocka Flame

Waka Flocka
Salute Me Or Shoot Me 6
Atlantic Records

Waka Flocka has released his newest mixtape titled, Salute Me or Shoot Me 6. With eleven songs and features ranging from Lotto Savage, Comethazine, Prince Ink, and Jimmy Rocket, Waka Flocka is able to deliver a great body of work.

In this project, Waka Flocka puts together a good blend of hard-hitting instrumentals and gangster lyrics. Songs like “Karma Pt 2”, “Lock Jaw”, “Drops” and “I Remember” are hard-hitting, filled with high energy, and demonstrate Waka’s Flocka’s unique sound in rap.

With all that’s good in this project, some of the songs do not match the tone of the mixtape. When listening to the project, songs like “WorldWide” and “Long Live The King”, do not match the high energy that Waka Flocka delivers throughout the whole album.

Despite some songs not matching the tone of mixtape, Waka Flocka’s latest project should be checked out.
