Virginia sextet Low Water Bridge Band, already made an impression here at Spill Magazine with their 2023 album Back To The Valley. The band is now back with their latest offering, Honky Tonk Process.  And yes, as is the case with any process, things take time to develop, with small, even minute, changes raising things up, notch by notch from where they were before. So no, there are no big, dramatic changes in the sound Low Water Bridge Band are working with here, but those notches, no matter how small they are, bring further maturity and detail to their sound, building up on what they brought to the Americana/roots/alt-country scene so.

The band is obviously mindful of what is currently going on within the genre, without losing their footing with what they have done before, there is definite assuredness in their sound that sounds at the same time so familiar, but surely not dated, and again, it all works, particularly for all Americana fans.
