SPILL ALBUM REVIEW: LORD OF THE LOST – FROM THE FLAME INTO THE FIRE (2024 DELUXE EDITION)

Lord Of The Lost

LORD OF THE LOST
FROM THE FLAME INTO THE FIRE (2024 DELUXE EDITION)
OUT OF LINE MUSIC

Lord of the Lost has just dropped the 10th Anniversary Edition of their electrifying fourth album, From The Flame Into The Fire. This special edition is to be noticed, featuring songs that have been newly mixed and mastered. And guess what? It’s available on both 2-CD and double vinyl! Get ready to experience the magic all over again.

From The Flame Into The Fire is characterised as one of the band’s heavier albums, demonstrated right from the outset with “Fists Up In The Air”, a rocking track setting a uniquely strong tone. With tracks three and four taking a distinct detour, typical of the gents–as far as mixing of genres goes–and, this time, I am not so into it. Safe to say the album gets back on track.

With their sensual appeal, Chris Harms’ richly resonant vocals remain a standout attraction. As always, you will be hypnotised by his sultry appeal. Not only this, but the instrumentals push the limits, captivating dark metal vibes. “Holy F” is an exception, like a harmonic cheap trick to a Sunday church prayer session: hot. The 10th Anniversary of From The Flame Into The Fire is a fun time if you’re into a bit more of a heavy mix than what Lord of the Lost has to offer.

About the Author
Victoria Love-Rainbow
I am an avid connoisseur of music experiences but never had the courage to share them until now. My inspiration comes from the '90s alternative and punk rock music I grew up listening to. Bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Silverchair, Eve 6 and Everclear shaped my worldview and taste in music. I want to capture some of their energy and spirit in my stories. Thanks for checking out my bio and my work!
