I Oh You

Australian band DZ Deathrays has released their fourth studio album, Positive Rising: Part 1. This time around, they are joined by Lachlan Ewbank on vocals and lead guitar, growing from duo to a trio of rockers.

The lead single from the album, “In to It” is a party song about a time of intoxication and regret. The songs almost have “Nirvana-ish” feel to them, complete with the sense of thrashing around in a mosh pit to “Year of the Dog”, which features vocals by The Bronx’s Matt Caughthran. Their hard work paid off with this one. The whole album rocks out with the excellent guitars and the brilliant lyrics, and is absolutely far from disappointing. All nine tracks are energy-packed with little to no slowing down.

Be sure to catch them live next time they’re on tour, the band are guaranteed to have audiences dancing and bouncing around throughout the show, with no dull points at all.
